Regional Air Issues

The NRAC has no State-mandated responsibilities in the field of air quality.  However, many of the member governments of TCOG have been deeply involved in the workings of the Texas Air Quality Coalition.  Additionally, all Texoma businesses and citizens have an interest in air issues owing to our proximity to the Dallas/Fort Worth area (a "Serious" non-attainment area under the Federal Clean Air Act).  The purpose of this page is to provide links to experts, resources and into the process at work in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.  This page also houses materials pertaining to the control of outdoor burning of solid waste in the Texoma region.
